Privacy Policy

Last updated: 2 October 2026

This policy explains how Rocknician ("we", "us") collects and uses your personal information when you use this website. We are the data controller for that information.

What we collect

  • Orders: your name, email address, delivery address and the items you buy. Card payments are handled by our payment provider, SumUp — we never see or store your full card details.
  • Account: your name, email address and an encrypted password if you register.
  • Contact messages: whatever you tell us when you use the contact form.
  • Newsletter: your email address, if you subscribe.
  • Wishlist and bag: the products you save, linked to your account if you are logged in.
  • Technical data: cookies needed to make the site work (see our Cookie Policy) and standard server logs such as IP address and browser type.

How we use it

  • To take payment, dispatch and deliver your order, and deal with returns (contract).
  • To run your account and answer your questions (contract / legitimate interests).
  • To send marketing emails if you subscribe — you can unsubscribe at any time (consent).
  • To keep the site secure and prevent fraud (legitimate interests).
  • To meet legal and accounting obligations (legal obligation).

Who we share it with

Only the services we need to run the shop: our payment provider (SumUp), delivery carriers, and our hosting and email providers. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as the law requires for tax and accounting purposes. Account and newsletter details are kept until you ask us to delete them. Contact messages are kept for as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, delete or export the personal information we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, and withdraw consent at any time. To do so, contact us or email hello@rocknician.com. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
